One not so ordinary afternoon at home in Kuching turned out to be one of the most reflective and awakening afternoon in years. A 14 year old girl managed to just made me boil beyond my normal temperament in less than 3 hours.

I was once 14 years old. I was once a rebel. I was once a curious kid. I was once a kid who didn't care about anything much. But as of now, I have come to realize that I am beginning to care of all the things I used to not be bothered with when I was younger!

All the things that I never used to care about has suddenly become more significant to me! Furnitures, the fridge, the car... the electricity usage, to say the least! And all this because a teenager, who was a total stranger was in the house and managed to bring me up to a boiling state of mind for not caring nor showing respect to other people's property!

It astounds me that her parents did not teach her how to behave in people's home!

One does not go into people's home and starts opening the fridge for at least 10 times in less than 3 hours!
One does not dig out old photo albums in the house to look when not asked to!
One does not takes the house keys to let herself out, standing outside with the door wide open to welcome potential robbers! (a guy actually came at the door to ASK FOR MONEY! *creepy*)
One does not THEN comes back in, locks the gate and toss the keys on the shoe cupboard! Disregarding the fact that the keys may just leave scratch marks!

Oh, how vexing it is on my poor nerves! If you do not know how to behave like a proper guest in other people's home, it is very most likely that I shall never be able to welcome you back into my home. Since when simple thing like this would piss me off? I really don't know but I would think that I now have found a whole new meaning to appreciating your own home and showing respect to other people's home!

NYE @ MYSTICAL EVE 2012!

How did you guys celebrate your NYE? I had a blast with my girls from Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers at The Mystical Eve 2012 @ Red Carpet Avenue, ENCORP Strand in Kota Damansara! Weeehhheee! Managed to avoid all the traffic jam and long night drive out into the city when The Strand was just 10 minutes drive away from my place!

We managed to grab dinner right together at the Wok Cafe located in the Strand itself too. We called it our LAST MEAL of 2011. LOL! Hahahaha! It was definitely a good last meal. Walked to the main area of the event and arrived at this scene!

Spectacular colours and crowd! Everyone was already hyped and ready to party! Among the lineup of performers were Mizz Nina, Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit, Reza Salleh, Najwa Mahiaddin, Dennis Lau and beat boxer, Shawn Lee, while Barsonic’s resident DJ, Davern Koh aka HypeEmBeats and Jee Hoe of DJ collective Melee Punks was spinning the night away! How can you not get up on your feet and jump with lineups like these?!

We also had the vivacious Julien Woon and sexy Megan Tan hosting throughout the night!

These were Men with Lasers! Quite cool effects.
We were trying to figure out how the laser lights worked in their hands!

Explain to me how they can just throw the laser and catch it! LOL!

Not forgetting the scary aerial acrobatics!
It sure takes a lot of strength to make sure you dont slip off!

Remember I was talking about the Hennessy VSOP Privilege Collection NYX last week? I managed to attend the exclusive launch party last Thursday that was held in a secret location. Though, a lot of rumors went around saying it was at Vertigo. Turns out it was TRUE!

The Hennessy V.S.O.P NYX Concept Space in Mid Valley (East Entrance Atrium) had very futuristic girls showcasing the platinum bottle. There were games available to win the bottle of Henessy V.S.O.P. NYX bottle! The highest score of the day wins! Was visiting the concept space to check out the bottle for myself! And I bumped into a few friends!

At about 9pm, we all moved up to Vertigo to find the whole place pitch-black with UV lights up in the ceiling and the purple dance floor at the DJ deck!

For the night, everyone was Michael Jackson! =P
We were given white hand gloves... you know why?? =P

This was my first 7aste event. Never attended anything by 7aste before. The wonderful people at 7aste called and told me they wanted to invite me as their VIP. Awkwardly, I didn't know why either.

The guy just called and asked if I would like to attend as their VIP where they will reserve a table under my name and a bottle of vodka is provided. I am given 3 extra passes for my guests. Woooo~ Special treatment to the max. I LIKE. Then came the night, to party #likeaboss.

It was definitely packed that night but when you find that cozy corner all for you and your own friends, all you have to do is make sure everyone is having fun and you'll have yourself a great party! Don't miss out on the next 7aste event! You won't wanna miss it!

Goodbye, 2011.

So much around me has changed in the year 2011.
Burned some bridges, mended some bridges, made some new ones.
If anything, 2011 taught me that I can be strong and independent when I want to.
There were times in 2011 that I hated but there was some great ones too.
I'm thankful to have met so many great people who inspires me or help me whenever I'm being silly. =P
I wouldn't say the year 2011 was that bad.
There were some redeeming moments but who cares, 2012 is here now!

BRING IT ON, 2012!

WHERE'S THE PARTY? @ CARLSBERG BREWERY

Where's the Party? by Carlsberg Malaysia returns with a bang for a second time this year! The first Where's the Party? was epic! I was lucky to have most of my friends with me for the first! It was a fun experience! And how was the second instalment??

The exclusive by-invitation only party was held at the very own Carlsberg Malaysia’s Brewery in Shah Alam, the facility where the first Carlsberg beer was locally brewed in 1972. More than 2000 guests attended the party, which had an eclectic mix of exciting games, fun rides and free flow of Carlsberg beer.

The party incorporated an ‘amusement park’ theme, complete with childhood favourites such as a ferris wheel, pirate ship and an adult carousel! It was like a fun fair! I felt like I was 15 again! LOL!

As an interesting touch to both Where's the Party is that all partygoers were assigned their own, unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identity) tags, which enabled them to collate points from the games! Then they get to collect prizes according to the points they've collected!

These RFID tags were linked to their Facebook accounts and enabled them to update their Facebook status simply by tagging on the “Like” stations throughout the brewery! LIVE UPDATING ON FACEBOOK, YO!

During the Press Conference on the evening of the Where's the Party? right in their home ground with MHB! NOW, THAT CALLS FOR A CARLSBERG!

The whole car park of the brewery was transformed into a fun-filled amusement park for adults! Actually, this concept can work! I'm sure people would pay to come have a healthy fun day out with alcohol... sorta healthy! Some other traditional fun fair booths also included Ring a Green, Toss & Score, Duck Hunt, ‘Our holes, Your balls’ & Wild Wild West.

With its reputation as the ‘party of the year’, this time, a key highlight of the party was the Sky Ride, which gave partygoers an exhilarating experience of being buoyed by a hot air balloon. Not that I could get on it! I wore a dress! MEH! LOL! Wouldn't wanna be 10 metres above ground showing what I'm wearing under! =P

To liven up the atmosphere in the evening all through the wee hours the next morning, Carlsberg presented an array of entertaining performances by international DJs, renowned rappers, bands and musicians. Locally acclaimed performers Dennis Lau and Shawn Lee presented a thumping combination of an electric violin and beat boxing.

A special performance by famous Korean star, Lee An, the unforgettably spontaneous star rapper of Carlsberg Malaysia, Mr Soren Ravn along with violinist Dennis Lau awed the party crowd further. Home-grown bands Crossfire and Paperplane Pursuit had the crowd dancing to their chart topping hits.

World renowned girl band ‘High on Heels’ also made their first appearance in Malaysia and entertained the crowd with their creative mix of LIVE classical instruments with song mixing on their turntables. “Where’s The Party” came to a close around 2am the following morning after several hours of non-stop music with international DJs; Sophie Sugar from the UK and Hiloco from Japan.

As part of the ‘Enjoy Responsibly’ campaign, Carlsberg planned engagement activities for consumers such as the Alcohol Testing Zone, where consumers had their alcohol level tested while partying and the Drunk Man Zone which enabled consumers to play an android game which showed them the effect of excessive alcohol consumption!

I have yet to test this out!
Should I take it with me the next time I drink? =P

I played the Drunk Man Zone & won myself a Breathalyser! These activities served as a reminder for all partygoers to be safe, in control, drink smart and stick to the age limit.

It definitely a fun experience at the Where's the Party! Again, Carlsberg Malaysia has outdone themselves!

BLOGGERS WANNABE VIPs

I have been blogging for about 8 years now. What started out as a hobby, 8 years ago is now very much a lifestyle. I have met so many types of bloggers from the full-time bloggers to your run-of-the-mill ones. The only thing about bloggers and blogging now is that, this particular activity has become so saturated that it's as good as people who buy expensive camera equipment calling themselves 'professional photographers'.

When we all started blogging back then, it was a hobby. Just something fun to throw on the net. Hell, we didn't even have Facebook then. We were relying on Friendster. If you read most blogs back then, it was more personal. Just daily ramblings. If you like it, stay and read. If you dont, well... "OFF, IS THE GENERAL DIRECTION IN WHICH I WISH YOU WOULD F*CK." =)

The current trends of the bloggers from the newer generation? Lines like the ones listed below are no strangers to my ears:-

"I wanna blog because I will get invites to all the events."

"I wanna blog because it will make me famous."
"I wanna blog because I wanna be treated like VIP."

Whenever, I hear the lines above coming out of especially young girls...? I feel like telling it to their face, "It does not work like that, honey." Bloggers are not VIPs. Please do explain to me how if print medias are not VIPs, how will bloggers ever be taken as VIPs? Print medias has more credibility than bloggers. If it's on paper, it's LEGIT.

Then, there are bloggers who seriously act like they are VIPs...

Bloggers who demand to be on the list!
Bloggers who are on the list but fail to show up!
Bloggers who demand for free passes!
Bloggers who demand for free gifts!
Bloggers who demand for free flow of alcohol and food!
Bloggers who announce to the world that they are invited to events!
(no bragging rights should be given to bloggers who gets invites. only winners of contests should have bragging rights, those are the real consumers who actually work really hard for the invites. not piggy back on the title, blogger)

For clients, who are we actually targeting to please? Bloggers or consumers? I don't think these bloggers sound very VIP, they sound very much like freeloaders. Heck, what's wrong with paying for your own drinks and food?! That is why I respect bloggers who would pay for their own food and still write about it! Must every party you attend only be free flow of alcohol? If you can't afford the lifestyle, don't fake it? If you have to demand for free flow means you're not worth it either.

It's bloggers like these who taint the name 'blogger'. Why do you think I rarely would ever want to introduce myself as a blogger? I rather just say I'm a guest. What is the point of announcing to the world that you're a blogger? If you need to announce it, it probably means you're trying to compensate for what you're lacking. Do journalists run around announcing that they are a journalists? Do celebrities run around telling everyone else they are celebrities? NO, right?

The problem that clients/PR companies face lately is determining which blogger is credible and reliable. I mean they are so many of them and for them to sieve through each blogger? Do you think they have the time for all that? Which is why I suppose companies like Nuffnang.com works. Upon arriving at the Grand Entrance of KL @Live, you can't miss the great giant Mr. Johnnie Walker wall & his ever so sleek car parked right in front for your eyes to feast on.

Mr. Johnnie Walker made an appearance and was very anxious about having his car up in front.
I'd be worried too especially when everyone else is touching it and taking pictures with it. =P

I have always heard of this place called Beer Factory. Even my friends from Kuching who are here for a holiday would often tell me, "I'm going to Beer Factory with some friends". That is just how much I've heard of this place but have not had the chance of checking out the place.

Just last month, MHB went down to Sunway Giza to check out what all the fuss is about at Beer Factory! We got to try something very different instead of only just beers @ Beer Factory...

BEER FACTORY - SIGNATURE BEER COCKTAILS

Paulango | Strawberry Long Island Tea | Hobannah

Paulango - mix of Paulaner and blended Mojito. I thought this was a minty drink. Though the green does makes you wonder if you are drinking a grass drink! =P You also get a few Lychees in it too! Slight bitter taste but a fun drink to have!

Strawberry Long Island Tea - am sure most of you would know the famous Long Island Tea that kicks you down quite fast. Any Long Island Tea is anything but a nice warm cup of tea. Long Island Teas has normally a higher concentration of alcohol. With a tinge of Strawberry taste and not forgetting the full fruit itself, this is one sweet mix of alcohol that is cleverly disguised as a tea.

Hobannah - putting the twist to a Hoegarden beer, this drink comes with a scoop of ice cream floating along side some red cherries. Mix it or take it separately, either way.. you can enjoy this chidlike drink and pop it off with a cherry!

Apple Artois | Sex & The City | Take Me Home

Apple Artois - mix of Apple Cider & Stella Artois. If you're a Stella person, you'd know how light and powerful taste a Stella on its own is like. With a mix of Apple Cider, the drink does get a little medicinal. One sip of this baby will hit you so strong, you'd want more!

Beer Factory Special Salad - special? beer factory? NO! No beer in the special salad. LOL! Fresh greens with honey mustard dressing and no beer in the mustard either. Don't put your hopes on it. Though if you ask nicely, maybe the bartender could mix in a few drops of beer for you!

Meatball Pizza - you get the full meatballs here! Swedish meatballs, my dear! some onion garnishing on the top for that meaty bite of pizza! A great dish for a group of friends! Especially after a few rounds of beer! No one can say no to Swedish meatballs!

Rib Eye Steak - i thought the steak was done well. pretty tender and juicy with mash potatoes and some good greens to compliment the steak! Would definitely wanna go back for seconds!

Aglio Olio | Pork Burger | Chips & Salsa

Aglio Olio - your not so run-of-the-mill aglio olio. It is served pretty spicy with mussels. You seem em' red powder on the side of the plate? That's probably some kick-ass chili powder!

Pork Burger - woohoo, I know most pork burger lovers would love! It has a thick juicy patty of pork right in there! Pretty sinful, if you ask me! This is even more EPIC than the EPIC Burger that you hear about on the radio! =P

Chips & Salsa - ordinary chips but coated heavily with heavenly with melted cheese. The not-so-ordinary salsa sauce is home-made. A dip of that with your chips gives you that sweet & sour yet rich burst of taste! Definitely a for beer snack!

We definitely had a great bountiful meal @ Beer Factory! By the time we were done, you would think we were full of beer but honestly, beer was the only thing we saved for last! Remember to always enjoy your food and finish it with a good pint of beer!

I have always been a big fan of magic. Well, yea... I also loved the idea of Fairy Godmother, Genie, Santa, Tooth Fairy, Tinkerbell? When we were younger, I'm sure most of us just wondered if magic existed and how much fun it would be to have them. Look at Harry Potter? Would you wanna be him and go to 'Magic School'? I DEFINITELY WOULD! =P

Recently, I have had the pleasure of meeting a sleight of hand artist/mentalist while being out and about in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Eventually, I got to know him better and I WISH he would just TEACH ME already! It would be cool, if I started showing you some magic, yea?! =P

Meet Zlwin Chew...

Ok ok.. no no, they are not twins!

One guy with too many bended forks! LOL!

He is a magician based in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. His interest in magic started off during the early childhood days when his father used to bring his family for magic shows. However, he only got serious in learning the Art of Magic when he saw his friend performing some close-up magic to him many years ago.

Since then he was determined to learn and taught himself magic from a few sources. It was only the beginning. He then ventured further on the magical path. The love for the art of prestidigitation never left him.

When I say bended forks.... I mean.. all that TWIST!

Zlwin has met and performed to some of the country's most reknown people. Some of them include:- The 12th King of Malaysia, Sultan of Perlis, Raja Syed Sirajuddin ibni Syed Putra Jamalullail.- Former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun. Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad.

He currently works for Kuala Lumpur's most prestigious and recognized club, Zouk KL, as their Resident Magician. He comes into the clubbing scene bringing magic - a whole new and radical idea in Malaysia. Currently, he is the only magician holding a residence in a club in the whole of Kuala Lumpur. Being familiar with the clubbing environment, he is able to incorporate magic very well into his stints at night.

Performing magic in crowded areas with low lightings and very loud music is no stranger to Zlwin. He is able to capture his audience's attention quickly and blow them off with his effects - leaving them with a clubbing experience they will never forget.

You might also know him as Samsung Malaysia's official brand ambassador and has completed numerous projects with them including the launch of Samsung’s new phone in Oman, Middle East! Ultimately, jealous! He gets to travel the world and show off his skills! He was also in India before to perform his magic!

Me thinks he's definitely going somewhere with his magic. I am already very much in wonderment watching him going around the world sharing his love for magic! His recent work includes performing for Louis Vuitton and Roger Dubuis La Monegasque!

There was the Unveiling of Ducati Monster event back in October where the dresscode was WHITE! Almost everyone turned up in white! Free flow of champagne all night and some vodkas...

It's funny how when you were young, all you ever wanted to do was grow up and live your own life. You had big dreams. You were not afraid of anything... [not even your parents]. All you ever think about is try everything!

How I miss those days when all I ever did was just run around and did everything without doubting myself. I could run fast, jump high, jump far, jump and land right, for that matter. I used to be tough like the boys and was confident in almost anything I did.

TRY NOW! I walk and I'll slip right off the pavement. I jump but I end up injuring an ankle when I land. I'm so bloody worried just about walking towards a puddle of water! It is as if now... every action, every decision, every thought... comes down to me doubting myself. If I was a cartoon character, I'd be Mr. Bean but the one with the most injuries.

Whoever says, "I can't wait to graduate and start working" obviously does not know what they are really wishing for. I was just like that, some 2 years ago. I wanted to graduate fast and was so bloody happy I finished. Didn't take too long before I realized, being a kid beats growing up anytime.

Quarter-life crisis just sat comfortably right next to me and became my best friend. Although, it has been two years since I graduated... I still think about my University days. I think about home. I think about my old routines. How comfortable I was in those routines being at home. Knowing just everything that I needed to know.

It does seem like the longer I am here in this city, the more I feel like I'm losing myself and everything else that I used to know. How the city consumes me and makes me feel like just a tiny dot. [does not help that I am already so skinny]

Though, yes. I do seem like I am having fun attending events, ever so often. It has come to the point where being out at events is the only thing that I know I won't end up injuring myself. LOL! Honest. [Well, only because I've made it a point to never over drink and get drunk. It's demeaning to drink til you're drunk.]

This whole transition thing from being a student, living with family to being an adult and living alone sure sucks balls to the max. I guess, I am finally feeling it lately because I am living alone with 3 other strangers in the house where... I think if I died in my room, they won't know shit until it was time to pay the rent!

I wants to jump and feel le jolt.

You know.. like le Inception.

You wake up le moment you fall and feel le jolt!

I'm am an avid fan of Blackberry Bold, if you have previously read about my obsession on it though I am currently punishing myself with an iPhone until January 2012. Yes, I can only get a Blackberry replacement next year. Just so that, I learn my lesson well.

Anyhoo, going off topic. You know how Blackberry, iPhones and recently Samsung has been the ultimately smartphone everyone hopes to have. I myself used to be a Nokia fan. My first handphone ever was a NOKIA 3310! It served me for 4 years! By the end of 4 years, I was taping its back with cellophane tape to keep it together! That was how much I loved my NOKIA. Used it til its very last breath.

I had always thought of NOKIA as the big player and I guess they needed a BIG COME BACK! How do you make a mark in the world and keep that dent in?

On Monday 28th November, Nokia Lumia 800 with Windows phone http://nokia.ly/uBVXxw brought deadmau5 and the world's most advanced 4D technology together and created an amazing free light show at Millbank Tower, London.

Millbank was plunged into darkness with the iconic tower acting as the canvas for a never-before-seen spectacular. Each of the 120 metre high building's 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure. Huge butterflies flew across the London skyline and the tower was twisted, pulsated and even fell down. What is 'True Beauty'? Mmmm, now that is something even I have trouble figuring out. I'm sure if any of us figures out the answer, life would be so much easier for us females, right? I guess for now, we can only interpret what true beauty means to each and every one of us.

Panasonic Malaysia has just launched a new campaign called 'True Beauty' showcasing their health & beauty products. It was a grand event held at Nero Room - Vertigo decorated with everything red in conjunction with the red theme of 'True Beauty'.

The elegant launching was officiated by the Managing Director of Panasonic Malaysia, Mr. Jeff Lee who praised women and their beauty in his welcoming speech. Among the many top management of Panasonic who attended was Chris Tomachi, Harry Sasaki and Matsuoka Kiyoshi.

How times fly so fast! One month has passed since the glamorous night at Rootz, KL on the night of 'Passion for Fashion'! Hundreds of people pouring in way even before 9pm. That was just how enthusiastic everyone was for that one night at Passion for Fashion that only happens once a year!

Great personalities were there to grace the night with the likes of Cassandra Patrick, Fay Hokulani, Dennis Lau, Leng Yein and many more! International models Kiri Hartig from the United States and Cay Kuijpers from the Philippines were emcee-ing the night away with hot hunks and babes strutting the runway with all that passion for fashion! Among the DJs that were featured was DJ Nikki, DJ Mysty & DJ Crystal Q from Taiwan.

The night of style and sophistication went a note higher with the presence of Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve! Now, that is what I call GOLD! LOL! The grand idea of Passion for Fashion was put together by actor/model/emcee Josiah Mizukami, who had a vision of creating an event where personalities to network and party in style!

Everyone was partying hard and enjoying themselves networking throughout the night. This is will definitely not be the last instalment of Passion for Fashion, I'm sure! Looking forward to another great night of Passion for Fashion in the year 2012!

(yes, I do not know why you would need a golden umbrella in Heaven, when you reach up there... you should not even be bothered about material things!)

Imagine how a man would feel if the wife is allowed to marry more than one husband? [Oh no, wait. It's without question the stupidest idea, right? Because a woman will not be able to upkeep 4 husbands.] But imagine it! Would you men grant it? Would you have it that way? In actual fact, the mission of OWC is only just scratching on the surface and making it legal for them to talk about sex freely without having to fear speaking out of context.

Instead of blaming on the wife that if she is not obedient, submissive and fulfilling desires more than a first-class prostitute, the husband will stray and look for sex elsewhere... maybe we should redirect the focus on the husbands!

I'd say GROW SOME LOYALTY BALLS before even thinking about getting married!

If you are lacking those balls, please continue on being single with no strings attached and have all the 'happy endings' you want. Let the women have their happily ever after with men who would cherish and love ONLY them!

Food Review - The Hill, Damansara Heights

I have heard of this place called the Hill for the longest time. At least in the past 10 months! Everyone keeps talking about it and yet I have no idea where this Hill is. It was a pleasure to have been invited to finally taste the food at this famous place - The Hill!

The Hill is situated on a hill as the name says it all. More accurately, a hill on Damansara Heights. As far and as long as I have been in KL, all I hear about Damansara Heights is that it is a very expensive area to live in, a place of a certain class and taste. LOL!

It was a busy evening! Very pack for a Tuesday night!

But anyhoo, I was very much excited upon arriving! We were blessed with a cool dry night. As you can see above, their have a very big portion set for al fresco dining.

Time to make you drool just a bit.. =P

Soft Shell Crab Salad - RM18 | Chilli Clams Full portion - RM28 | Nachos - RM25

The soft shell crab salad was divine. Topped with wafu dressing, the soft shell crab melts in your mouth! The chili clams was a bit on the zesty side with all that chilli, tomatoes and cucumber mix! The nachos make great snack dish with all that cheese on top!

"Cheese Fire" Roll RM32 | Smoked Duck in Creamy Tomato RM30 | Signature Pan Fried Salmon RM38

The "Cheese Fire" has soft shell crab, cucumber, unagi stuffed into a roll topped with grilled cheese! You can imagine how all that feels in your mouth. All juicy and yummylicious, mouth watering rolls! Then here's another creamy rich dish, smoked duck with penne in creamy tomato sauce! Eat this while it's fresh out of the kitchen before it gets cold, dry and has an oddly rich taste! Trust me, you should on this!

Brontosaurus Beef Ribs with Wedges RM78 | The Green Monster RM28 | Aglio Olio RM48 (Spaghetti)

Somehow I find that a majority of my friends are crazy over pork ribs! I don't know why but it is like a highlight MUST-HAVE dish! The slightly spicy Brontosaurus Beef Ribs is limited to only 10 servings per night and the only way to make sure you get to sink your teeth into the ribs is to call and make a reservation for the Brontosaurus!

The Green Monster is actually a lamb burger with mint leaves giving the look and taste of GREEN! LOL! Loved the seafood aglio olio that comes that a huge tiger prawn!

Then of course, not forgetting the simple cocktail... Mojito, with some fresh mint leaves, caster sugar, lime juice & Sagatiba.

Feeling Disabled & Heartbroken

Naomi has officially lost her phone. She will not be contactable on her usual number or even through BBm. She is still keeping the faith that someone would charge the battery, see the 'if found' message on the keypad lock screen and contact her. Other than that, the phone is almost useless without the pin code.

Best or maybe WORSE part is... she was so clever to set a pin code on her phone just this week with the 'if found' message. As if she predicted something like this may happen. Silly girl. Law of attraction. When you think too much about something, it comes true. The power of visualizing.

Seemingly, Naomi is a big part clumsy and many parts careless. She has come to realize that when she lives alone and away from home, she can be quite disoriented. Being ultimately blur whenever she wants to, clumsy and carelessness is not something she should practice. LOL!

Anyway, if within a week... the phone is not back in the arms of Naomi. She will get back her usual number and life goes on as usual from there. Just a little bit disabled and heartbroken. And yes, while you may say.. "this is a good reason to buy a new phone." She would usually agree with you but she has only used this missing phone for 2 ++ months. Fairly new~

But yea, it is just a phone. Pray that it goes into good hands or if it has fallen into bad hands, I pray that the person would be happy and take good care of it. The phone deserves someone who would love it. =)

If you missed the whole drama, you can read all about it here! When I first read it, I was annoyed by the fact that she insulted . Well, I can't say that all Sarawakians are nice but majority of us are mostly nice people, mostly. It is ironic how she complained that she feels as if she is treated like a foreigner in Sarawak. Some West Malaysians do not even know that Sarawak is part of Malaysia! LOL!

If you ask me, we Sarawakians have our own cultures, customs and rules. It is almost as if Sarawak is a country on it's own. So, please do not be insulted if we do treat any West Malaysians like foreigners in Sarawak. Most of the time, it is nice to be treated like a foreigner, no? I remember back in the days whenever someone from West Malaysia comes to Kuching, I would play tourist guide and take them to all the 'must-see' places. That being, if you don't insult me first and then expect me to still treat you nicely. LOL!

Anyhoo, enough of me justifying for Sarawak.

A Chinaman decides to retire and move to Australia after50 years of living in Shanghai.

He bought a home on a small piece of land . A few daysafter moving in. The friendly Aussie neighbour decides to go across and welcomethe new guy to the region. He goes next door but on his way up the drive-way hesees the Chinaman running around his frontyard chasing about 10 hens. Not wanting to interrupt these 'Chinesecustoms', he decides to put the welcome on hold for the day.

Where is the one place that shares with you all the excitement in one night with these?

Last month, I made a spontaneous decision to show up in Singapore during the F1 Singapore Grand Prix Night Race weekend! What other better reason than to be at Johnnie Walker Jet Black Party, Singapore? It is only but the most exclusive, glamorous and prestige race party!

This would be my most epic Johnnie Walker experience! To be amongst the creme de la creme of Singapore and experience the Jet Black Race Party with all the glam and glitz for the very first time in my life! *yes, Naomi has never partied in Singapore before this. LOL!

The Johnnie Walker Jet Black Race Party was held in the Fullerton Bay Hotel where the whole of One on the Bund was transformed into a sophisticated night of black & gold! With the fun and interactive experiential zones, the Jet Black Race Party was no place for you to be bored!

Experiential zones consist of Facebook access, games & photo op! We fooled around with the machine for a bit. Well, just a bit and then ran off to see the nice view of Marina Bay Sands! LOL! That is how much attention span Naomi has on machines! LOL!

There were activites lined-up throughout the night! Our first visit was towards the 'Whisky Tasting' zone. We came to learn about the history behind Johnnie Walker and how the Black Label come to be the... "Black Label". Have you tried the "Gold Label"??? It tastes amazing......tinge of caramel, vanilla and smokey.

DJ Rock-It Scientist & DJ Tina T turned the place upside down on the turn-table! It was full on dancing right in front of the DJ deck for us! Party like no one is around! HAhaha! Although, yes it was tiring but that is why Johnnie Walker Black Label was provided throughout the night! To replenish the liquids in your body! =P

With my partners in crime, of course! Everyone in this bunch is somewhat from KL! LOL! Somewhat! Pay attention to the word SOMEWHAT! Should I say from Malaysia instead? LOL! But anyhoo! It is great to see familiar faces in a foreign land! Makes partying all the more fun! LOL!

Was recently invited to a grand and glamorous event by Moёt & Chandon: My MOЁT Moment which was held at Zouk Room, Zouk KL! Why I say GRAND & GLAM... I mean like super red carpet VIP style! I guess this is as far as Naomi will ever get to feeling like a Hollywood star at a Grammy Awards! LOL!

All the glitz and glamour could seriously melt your eyes! The turnout was amazing with MOЁT champagne in every glass and every hand.

Check out the amazing details in the decoration with gold balloons all around and the glimmer and sparkle of sophistication. So very cosmo. The upper east side of New York. An episode of Gossip Girl. LOL! Yea sure, so who should be Serena van der Woodsen & Blair Waldorf in this scenario?? =P

Best part of it was we met up with more people from the FAR EAST! =P LOL! Surprise surprise, Kenny was in town. He's one person I know who will always make me miss Kuching and for him to see the world and still return to Kuching means our hometown still is the best. =P Then there was also Azelea, an old high school mate from Kuching! Yes.. Apparently, we from the East are invading KL!

Check out this pillow model la!! Moёt & Chandon can go hire Anna to model with their pillows!! Weeeeee~ Poser shiokness! I paling cannot tahan close up pictures of myself! Anna sure likes it though! =P

Some entertainment of the night provided by Zouk KL... Sleight of Hand Artist/ Mentalist, Mr. Zlwin Chew. Him and his amazing sleight of hand, showing us his skills. I still dont get how he does the fork thing!! I've seen it a few times but.... I really dont know how he does it! But it sure does make all the girls all go starstruck! LOL!

OPERATION - UNDERCOVER HEIDI @ MALAYSIA'S OWN OKTOBERFEST, 1 UTAMA

Heidi - a German girl name. The meaning of the name is `Noble, Kind`

Curious as you might be about what's all this 'Undercover Heidi' operation, bear with me while I explain. =P A week before, someone thought it would be a cool idea to have us, MHB as 'Undercover Heidi'! I agreed in a heart beat because I was so jealous of the girls in those cute, adorable looking costumes during the launching of Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest @ Berjaya Times Square Hotel.

You guys should have seen the setup at One Utama, Old Wing Outdoor Car Park! It was HUGE! Such a grand setup! Fully decorated to set the mood for a festival!! I am always amazed at big ideas like these that comes to life in the most impressive way!

There were lots of games and performances! German chicks dancing, Oompah band playing, people being merry and enjoying themselves! I didn't dare get on the dunking seat! Not a seat that I would like to play with!! I am scared of getting wet in public! LOL!

I thought the beer deals that night was super awesome! A whole litre of beer and you get to keep the HUGE 1L MUG!! People were collecting like crazy! There were those who got busy trying to build towers with the boxes!!

Some on-stage games includes arm-wrestling like the medieval style! LOL! Check out, Martin's face struggling with the other opponent's arm! Then there was rolling the barrel!! Funny! It's a good thing that the dance floor was a big empty space! Wouldn't want one of these barrels squashing you!! I don't know why is this guy on the far right is spilling all that water... I am sure that is not part of the requirement of the game! LOL!

It was a great night with MHB! Would have been fun if we all went 'Undercover'! LOL! Imagine that! But yea, there were many other girls hired to dress up in the costume at the event. =P

Although it was a spontaneous decision, I had lots of fun being at the celebration in One Utama and wearing the costume! Those 1L mugs filled with beer was extremely HEAVY! My wrist was struggling to keep the mug upright for long period of time! *dont laugh la*

Get ready to party because Carlsberg Malaysia, for the FIRST TIME ever, has RECREATED the perfect setting to celebrate the world renowned Bavarian national festival, the famous Oktoberfest.

"Malaysia's Own Oktoberfest" has the popular Carlsberg flowing happily alongside popular German brews which they import namely Erdinger Weissbier, Franziskaner Weissbier and Lowenbrau. This coupled with authentic German cuisine prepared by a master chef, traditional live performances were the ingredients for a great night of fun, girls and of course beer!

*cough cough!* Many a time, this proves to be true in my case. You have only yourself to blame for my treating you in a manner that you may not like. Ironic how someone I knew a few years back was arguing with me about this .... pfffftt..... and then, I end up finding this on his wall! LOL! The irony of it all.... I tell you, it was not just a debate, it was a whole bloody argument. HAHAHA!

Tung Yuen & Borak-Borak @ Grand BlueWave Hotel

Was recently at Tung Yuen Chinese Restaurant, Grand Blue Wave Hotel. Was super thrilled cause it has been a long time since I had a proper Chinese dinner. =P Trust me, I barely have time to cook.

Tung Yuen Chinese Restaurant has this 'All You Can Eat' menu!! OMG!! Order as much as you can for the price of RM49++ per adult & RM25++ for children age 4-11 years! Great for fun Sunday brunch with family!! I remember I once took my mum for buffet dim sum, some few years back. Mum was very happy. =) *ok... now I miss mummy!!!!

Back to Tung Yuen! Anyhoooo, please do feast your eyes on some yummy looking food!! =)

I am a super soup lover! Gimme some good warm soup, especially on a rainy cold day... and my tummy will be extremely grateful! I thought the Hot & Sour Szechuan soup packed a punch! The hot = spicy and sour soup was slightly more spicy than usual but nonetheless the ingredients and taste was up to par.

A variety of dim sum available but my personal favourite would be the siew mai & pork dumplings! Not forgetting the soft shell crab that was to-die-for.tastegood.com!! LOL! Tung Yuen sure knows how to put the soft into the soft shell crabs with cab roe!!

I am a big fan of veggies! So long as the plate has veggies on it, definitely in my good books! Of course not, if the veggie was not done well! =P We had the stir fried baby kalian with shrimp paste & chili padi and the steamed bean curd with minced chicken & spring onions!! The bean curd was so soft and tender to the bite! Was loving the stir fried chicken cubes with dried chili & garlic!!

For desserts, we walked down to Borak-Borak for something refreshing and sweet! Gotta love the cakes!!
